saturday school 'The yearbook'
Since 2017, Saturday School has been an advocate for young Black creatives by sharing their stories, promoting their brands and creating unique experiences for the community. As a celebration and culmination of the “school year”, Saturday School presents ‘The Yearbook’—who we are, what we’re doing, and what we’re into.
Project Role: Founder and Creative Director
Creative Director and Designer: Gabriel Towles (2019) and Belise Thomas (2018)
Saturday School
The Yearbook is an annual magazine comprised of feature interviews and photo stories of Black creatives, business owners and educators throughout New York City. Stories of Black joy, life, creativity and entrepreneurship are still grossly underrepresented and our aim is to show the breadth of those stories across the diaspora.
